PRIVACY

Riffernal stores as little as possible. Here is everything, so there are no surprises.

What is stored

• Username and tagline — public, other users see these
• Your password — hashed, never stored or sent in plain text
• Game data — scores, play history, loops, difficulty and track preferences
• MIDI songs you import, and which of them you publish to the community

What is not collected

• No email address
• No name, address, or payment information
• No third-party trackers or analytics

Where it lives

Your data sits on our server. A login token is kept in your browser's local storage until you log out.

Who sees what

Songs you publish to the community and the daily leaderboards (your username and scores) are visible to other users. Everything else stays private to your account.
